Hoe wordt rood licht door de huid geabsorbeerd?
Rood licht en nabij-infrarood licht (NIR) dringen diep in de huid door en worden door de cellen geabsorbeerd. Het licht in het rode en NIR-spectrum kan de huid tot een diepte van ongeveer 5 tot 10 millimeter binnendringen, waardoor het diepere weefsels kan bereiken.
